James Woodward, aka J Woody is a musician based in Northern California, performing live and recording original songs since the 1970s, both as a solo artist and with bands. A troubadour in the classic style, Woody also delivers driving rock, blues, and country tunes, as well as romantic ballads and his unique spiritual folk songs. His debut album, “A Long Way to Heaven,” was released in June 2020 and features pro production and supporting players—all originals in diverse styles—kind of a J Woody sampler. The album is available on the major digital platforms or on CD direct from the artist for only $10.
